This resource was created in response Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s announcement on September 5, 2017, that the current administration would rescind the Obama-era executive order on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and impose a same-day stop to any new DACA applications. This document is intended to be a one-stop shop for school systems and educators to access information, respond to calls to action, or understand potential policies and practices that can be put into place at the local level.
